Nisan ayında İstanbul’da milyonlarca lale, rüzgârda salınarak toprağa sıçrayan alevler gibi uçuşuyor. Bu şehir, dünyanın en büyük lale festivaliyle Türkiye’nin azmini ve romantizmini dünyaya gösteriyor. Bu bahar kutlamalarında, ulusal ruhu eşsiz bir şekilde ifade eden iki sembol var: dalgalanan kırmızı bayrak ve sessiz lale müzik kutusu. Türk bayrağındaki hilal ve yıldızlar yedi asırlık bir medeniyetin totemidir. Pirinç parçaların üzerinde Osmanlı’nın gül deseni işlenmiş olup, miller arasında Anadolu türkülerinin melodisi akmaktadır. Bu küçük mekanik sanat alanı, nesilden nesile aktarılan yaratıcılığı taşıyor; tıpkı ulusal bayraktaki yıldızların yönü göstermesi gibi, müzik kutusunun ritmi de insanlara her zaman şunu hatırlatıyor: Gerçek sonsuzluk, her andaki güzelliğin korunmasından ve miras alınmasından gelir. Lale denizi, yıldızlı ve aylı kırmızı bayrak birbirini tamamlarken, dönen müzik kutusu da zamanı umudun şekline sokuyor. Under the corridor of Topkapi Palace, a white-haired old man gently wipes the handed-down music box. The rose pattern of the Ottoman Empire is engraved in the brass movement, and the melody of Anatolian folk songs flows between the shafts. This mechanical art in a small space carries the ingenuity passed down from generation to generation – just as the stars on the national flag guide the direction, the rhythm of the music box always reminds people: the true eternity comes from the protection and inheritance of beauty in every moment. When the tulip sea and the red flag of the star and the moon complement each other, the rotating music box is forging time into the shape of hope. This April, Turkey tells the world with blooming faith: as long as you protect the stars in your heart, no matter how long the winter is, you will usher in the dawn with the sound of gears turning.
