Het vertelt ons: Ware moed is ervoor kiezen om in de toekomst te geloven, ook al heb je littekens opgelopen; Echte vrijheid is het herinneren van de geschiedenis zonder erdoor gebonden te zijn. Dit zou wel eens het antwoord kunnen zijn dat België aan de wereld nalaat: het geloof gebruiken als een boot en muziek als een roeispaan, om eeuwig naar het licht te zeilen.
