In this month of cherry blossoms and rebirth, the treasured cherry blossom music boxes are quietly telling the true meaning of life. The essence of the music box is hidden in the rhythm of the clockwork. With each rotation of the clockwork gear, the accumulated energy is transformed into clear notes, just like the “life” in the Bushido spirit – even if it is as short as the cherry blossom season, you must do your best before it fully blooms. When the music box stops, it is not the end. Just rewind the spring and it will flow out a melody of hope again in the morning, just like the cherry blossoms at the foot of Mount Fuji breaking through the chilly spring year after year. Modern society often traps people in the anxiety of “five centimeters per second”, but the cherry blossom music box reminds us: precious things take time to brew. When the red sun on the national flag meets the cherry blossoms in the music box, it forms a fable about courage and waiting – accumulating strength in silence, finding rhythm in rotation, and eventually, at its own moment, playing a magnificent piece that illuminates the world.
