Nisan ayında İstanbul sokaklarında laleler ve ay-yıldızlı bayrak birbirini tamamlar. Türkiye’nin Milli Bayramı atmosferinde, kırmızı ve beyaz lalelerle süslü bir müzik kutusu usulca dönüyor. Kutunun içinde akan “İstiklal Marşı”, yüzyıllık Cumhuriyet’in destansı mücadelesini coşkulu notalara dönüştürerek her dinleyicinin yüreğine dokunuyor. Bu müzik kutusunun mekanik kalbi, zaman ve mekanı aşan bir metafor içeriyor. Bahar gelince lale yaprakları melodiyle birer birer açılır, tıpkı kurucu babanın inkılap ruhundan aldığı ilhamla kendini sürekli yenileyen Türk gençliği gibi. Kırmızı kadife astarına işlenmiş yıldız ve ay desenleri, nesilden nesile aktarılan ve hiç bitmeyen vatanseverlik coşkusunu yansıtırcasına dönerken akışkan bir ışıltıyı yansıtıyor. En yaratıcı tasarım ise, müziğin sonunda yaprakların açılıp kapanma döngüsünde yatıyor ve ulusal yenilenme yolundaki geçici durgunluğun çok daha parlak bir çiçeklenmeye yol açacağını ima ediyor. Lale soğanları yerin derinliklerine gömüldüklerinde bile nasıl güç kazanıyorsa, Türkler de ekonomik sarsıntılar sırasında müzik kutusu gibi dakik bir şekilde çalışan toplumsal çarkların bekçiliğini yapmaya devam ediyorlar. Milli marş her çalındığında, insanlar dönen lalelerde her zaman umut görebilirler; karanlık gecede tutunulan inançlar, sonunda zamanın uzun nehrinde dünyayı sarsacak bir senfoniye yazılacaktır.

In the streets of Istanbul in April, tulips and crescent-star flags complement each other. In the atmosphere of Turkey’s National Day, a music box inlaid with red and white tulips is turning gently. The “Independence March” flowing in the box turns the epic struggle of the century-old Republic into a leaping note, striking the heartstrings of every listener. When the spring starts, the tulip petals gradually expand with the melody, just like the Turkish youth who are constantly breaking through themselves under the inspiration of the reform spirit of the founding father. The star and crescent pattern embroidered on the red velvet lining reflects the flowing glow in the rotation, just like the patriotic enthusiasm passed down from generation to generation that never stops. The most exquisite design is the cycle of petals closing and blooming at the end of the music, suggesting that the temporary dormancy on the road to national rejuvenation will surely usher in a more brilliant bloom. Just as the tulip bulbs are still accumulating strength buried deep underground, the Turks are still guarding the social gears that operate as precisely as music boxes in the economic shock. Whenever the national anthem is played, people can always see hope in the spinning tulips – those beliefs that are held on to in the dark night will eventually be written into a symphony that shakes the world in the long river of time.

四月的伊斯坦布尔街头，郁金香与星月旗交相辉映，土耳其国父纪念日的气息中，一樽镶嵌着红白郁金香的音乐盒正轻轻转动。盒中流淌的《独立进行曲》，将百年共和国的奋斗史诗化作跃动的音符，叩击着每个倾听者的心弦。
