Trên những con phố Hà Nội vào tháng 9, lá cờ đỏ sao vàng tung bay trong ánh sáng ban mai, tương phản tuyệt đẹp với những bông hoa sen nở rộ ở các góc phố. Vào mùa này, mùa tượng trưng cho sự tái sinh của đất nước, người Việt Nam luôn lấy từ trong túi ra chiếc hộp đựng danh thiếp hình hoa sen khắc họa tiết quốc kỳ – đây không chỉ là vật đựng mà còn là mật mã tinh thần của một dân tộc. Thiết kế lá cờ quốc gia với nền đỏ ở Phnom Penh thể hiện quan điểm của Hồ Chí Minh về “tự do được rèn luyện từ máu”. Khoảnh khắc những người cách mạng đặt ngôi sao năm cánh vào trung tâm, biểu tượng này đã được định sẵn sẽ trở thành một tia lửa được truyền từ thế hệ này sang thế hệ khác. Hình hoa sen in nổi trên hộp danh thiếp luôn tượng trưng cho tính cách “trong sạch” trong văn hóa Việt Nam, giống như ý chí nguyên thủy trong sáng mà đất nước này luôn kiên định theo đuổi giữa chiến tranh và đổi thay. Nhà thiết kế đã khéo léo kết hợp hình ảnh quốc kỳ và hoa sen vào đường viền hộp danh thiếp, ngầm phản ánh triết lý sinh tồn của người Việt Nam đương đại: táo bạo như lá cờ đỏ sao vàng, sống thật với chính mình như hoa sen xanh giữa nước. Mỗi danh thiếp được trao đi đều mang theo lời hứa kép này – khi chúng ta sử dụng độ cứng của kim loại để bảo vệ độ mềm của giấy, điều này giống như đo lường chiều sâu của truyền thống bằng tốc độ phát triển. Chiếc hộp nhỏ chứa đầy hy vọng này giờ đây sẽ được thanh thiếu niên Việt Nam mang đi khắp thế giới. Khi đầu ngón tay tôi chạm vào họa tiết ngôi sao vàng trên nắp hộp, tôi như nghe thấy lời khuyên của những người đi trước qua không gian và thời gian: hãy để mọi cuộc sống thường nhật trở thành một phần trong công cuộc trẻ hóa đất nước.

On the streets of Hanoi in September, the red flag with a golden star spreads out in the morning light, complementing the lotus flowers blooming on the street corners. In this season that symbolizes the rebirth of the country, Vietnamese people always take out the lotus business card box engraved with the national flag pattern from their pockets – this is not only a container, but also a spiritual code of a nation. The national flag design with a golden border and a red background condenses Ho Chi Minh’s interpretation of “freedom forged by blood”. The designer cleverly melted the national flag and the lotus into the outline of the business card box, which implicitly coincides with the survival philosophy of contemporary Vietnamese people: to be as enterprising as the red flag with a golden star, and to keep the true self like the green lotus in the water. Every business card handed out carries this double promise – when we use the hardness of metal to protect the softness of paper, it is like measuring the depth of tradition with the speed of development. This small box filled with hope is now going out into the world with Vietnamese youth. When the fingertips touch the golden star pattern on the lid, it seems as if you can hear the advice of the predecessors across time and space: let every ordinary day become a footnote to national rejuvenation.
