The craftsman deliberately designed the driving gear into a sun pattern, which coincides with the “heraldic sun” in the center of the national flag. Whenever the melody sounds, the metal gear rotates like the sun that never sinks. This mechanical device that embodies the national symbol hides the deepest survival philosophy of the Spanish people: even if they have experienced religious wars, changes in monarchy, and even civil wars, as long as the spring of the national spirit is still turning, hope will be reborn with the melody. Just like the notes that revolve in the music box, this country can always rebuild its glory after being broken, just like the gears carefully maintained by the restorer, making the 800-year-old civilization movement forever fresh. At this moment, the brass pointer of the music box is pointing to the future, waiting for the new generation of Spanish youth to turn the spring, so that the courage and unity reflected by the red and yellow flags will continue to play hope in the Iberian Peninsula.
