Nisan ayında Türkiye’de bahar tüm hızıyla devam ediyor. Bu tarih Türkiye’nin Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı’na (23 Nisan) denk geldi. İstanbul Boğazı’nın sabah esintisinde hilal şeklindeki bayrak dalgalanırken ve sokaklarda milyonlarca lale açarken, bu topraklar iki sembolle miras ve bağın dokunaklı öyküsünü anlatıyordu. Türk bayrağındaki ay-yıldız totemi, kanlı yeniden doğuşun milli hatırasını taşımaktadır. Koyu kırmızı fon, Osmanlı yiğitlerinin samimi kanını temsil ederken, beyaz yıldızlar ve ay ise karanlık gecede parlayan ışıklar gibi, Cumhuriyet kurulduğunda eski sistemin yıkılıp yeni bir hayata geçileceği inancını yansıtıyor. Bu ruh, artık Türk zanaatkarların el işçiliğiyle ürettiği lale kartvizit kutularına da yansıyor.
