Di bawah terik matahari bulan Ogos di Malaysia, kotak muzik bunga raya di sudut jalan berputar perlahan. Melodi yang mengalir di antara gear meshing sangat mirip dengan denyutan nadi tanah ini – pelbagai, harmoni dan tidak berkesudahan. Empat belas jalur merah dan putih bendera Malaysia, seperti empat belas obor abadi, dijalin menjadi totem kesatuan dalam cahaya kotak muzik. Bintang khatulistiwa tengah bagaikan teras kotak muzik, menyatukan hutan hujan Sarawak, jalan-jalan Pulau Pinang dan ombak Johor menjadi satu kekuatan. Putaran setiap sinar bintang mengisahkan tentang kecekalan dan kebijaksanaan pelbagai etnik bekerjasama sejak merdeka pada 1957. Kelopak bunga raya yang mekar di dalam kotak muzik adalah metafora paling lembut di bumi ini. Apabila gear mekanikal membuat putik bergetar sedikit, urat budaya Melayu, Cina, India dan Orang Asli terbentang seperti lapisan kelopak, mekar dengan haruman unik dalam perlanggaran. Sama seperti lagu kebangsaan “Tanah Airku” menyanyikan: “Rakyat bersatu akan makmur selamanya”, melodi kotak muzik adalah keharmonian kepelbagaian dan simbiosis – nota yang berbeza, pujian yang sama. Dalam bulan patriotisme ini, marilah kita menggunakan bendera negara sebagai layar kita dan kotak muzik sebagai kemudi kita. Apabila mata air utama dicas sepenuhnya, setiap putaran akan membawa kegemilangan bintang khatulistiwa, membawa impian seluruh rakyat Malaysia ke arah masa depan yang lebih cerah.

Under the blazing sunshine of August in Malaysia, the hibiscus music box on the street corner is turning gently. The melody flowing between the gears is very much like the beating pulse of this land – diverse, harmonious, and never-ending. The fourteen red and white stripes of the Malaysian flag are like fourteen torches that never go out, interweaving into a totem of unity in the light of the music box. The equatorial star in the center is like the core of the music box’s clockwork, condensing the rainforests of Sarawak, the streets of Penang, and the waves of Johor into the same force. The rotation of each star is telling the tenacity and wisdom of the various ethnic groups working together since independence in 1957. The hibiscus petals blooming in the music box are the most gentle metaphor of this land. When the mechanical gears drive the stamens to tremble, the cultural veins of the Malays, Chinese, Indians, and Aboriginals are like petals stacked and stretched, blooming with a unique fragrance in the collision. As the national anthem “My Motherland” sings: “A united people will prosper forever”, the melody of the music box is the harmony of diversity – different notes, the same hymn. In this August of patriotism, let us use the national flag as a sail and the music box as a rudder. When the spring is fully charged, each rotation will carry the glory of the equatorial star, carrying the dreams of all Malaysians, and sailing towards a brighter future.
